I’ve always loved acting and writing and had these hidden filmmaking dreams since I was a child; but they only fit in my dreams because they were not a part of my parents’ painting of me as the doctor of the family.
After studying science my whole life, I decided to take the leap of faith and commit to my artistic passions and wrote a screenplay that changed my life.

Darren Cole and Rahman Oladigbolu became my filmmaking mentors; they invited me to audition for their projects which then lead to opportunities to broadcast my writing talent.
I wrote, I directed, I produced, I edited(most times, all at once) but most importantly I believed in myself and my work; passion did the rest.

"Death of a Scientist, Birth of an Artist"
On February 3rd, 2017, I spoke at my former school, Hopkins School, about my journey to self-discovery and how I learned "the time is always right to do right"-MLK.

Inspiring for intersectional, social change from the youth's voice, revealed many of my current views on social and political issues in America which led to a heart-felt standing ovation from the 7-12th grade students, staff, and faculty of Hopkins School who then proceeded to ask intellectual, relevant questions during the Q&A.
